Fortune Teller Slot

Fortune Tellers have made numerous appearances on the reels over the years, to the point where the crystal ball is seemingly becoming one of the most popular slots symbols out there at the moment! We are yet to run in to one yet that has been able to predict the future to the point that we know in advance whether we will be enjoying a positive or negative gaming session, but they have still managed to carve out an important niche among the various mobile slots themes. The game looks decent without being truly outstanding in that department but, as is so often the case with Play’n Go slots, the magic of Fortune Teller lies in the gameplay and features.

What to Expect

Fortune Teller Play'n Go SlotPlayers will have no trouble at all when it comes to getting up and running here on Fortune Teller. There are no bonus bets or basically any other considerations – simply decide how much you wish to stake across a more than palatable twenty win lines and you are good to go. The playing card ranks and themed symbols will come together regularly to keep those wins rolling, while the crystal ball symbol is every bit as important as we predicted, serving as it does as the wild card on the game.

There are a couple of different scatter symbols that players will encounter on this board and the chances are that the first one you will see will be the black cat. This one can pay out prizes regardless of win lines, but the best action is reserved for when you land three or more on a single spin. This will trigger the free spins round, where the black cats are now wild in addition to the crystal ball, and these wilds also come with a guaranteed three times multiplier on any line win that makes use of them.

A second bonus symbol appears in the form of the tarot card and the aim once more is to land three of them on the board at the same time. As we have somewhat come to expect from secondary features on the Play’n Go reels, this one involves a small pick bonus, where players simply choose from the available cards to build up to a prize. If you manage to match up several of the same card then the prizes will keep on getting bigger and bigger too, so there is a little more depth to proceedings here than players might originally have been expecting.

The Verdict

We did enjoy our time on Fortune Teller while reviewing the game, but we have to say that as one of the older Play’n Go mobile slots, it does not really quite hit the spot and we will probably not be coming back for more. The game is a decent one by all means and does not too anything particularly wrong, but it just lacks that little bit of additional excitement that could really push it over the edge into highly-recommended territory.
