The third mobile slot from NextGen to draw upon characters from the DC Comics portfolio is one that brings many of the heroes that we have seen in their own titles together as a team as they join forces to do battle as the Justice League. If you simply cannot decide which of the characters to play with, this game will be right up your street as they all make regular appearances on the board, and are all pretty valuable too. There are some sacrifices, as this game is not as big as either Batman or Superman with just 25 lines compared to the fifty in those titles, but for accessibility, that makes it even better. The features are great too as you will discover in the full review below.
What to Expect
Unlike many of the other DC titles, there is no Bonus Bet involved here and players will be able to access all of the features and action with just standard bets across the 25 win lines. That means that you can dive right into the action and the first of the special features suitably involves the heroes directly. Any team member that lands on reels two, three or four can randomly turn into a wild card and that wild can cover for all of the heroes at the same time when it comes to winning combinations. This feature takes the place of a standard wild rather than adding to it, something that isn’t necessarily all that great, but it is not the end of the world.
If you manage to land a stack of the same hero on the first reel, the Superhero Power-Up comes into play. The reels will respin, with the hero from the first reel also covering the fifth reel too. Any matching symbols already on the screen, together with any wilds, will remain sticky while the respin plays out. When more of the same hero appear, the respins will continue and it is ultimately possible to fill the board with the same character. Now we can see why they went with 25 lines rather than fifty!
Three Daily Planet symbols anywhere on the board will award ten free games and one super spin as part of the Attack on Metropolis bonus. The spins play out as normal, with every wild on the screen able to add a multiplier of between two and ten times, while also charging the Superhero Meter. For every three wilds that land in the free spins, one more super spin will be awarded. When the free spins are complete, the super spins will play out and reels one and five will each be filled with matching heroes, making it a lot easier to complete even bigger combinations.
The MobileCasino.net Verdict
We cannot put our finger on it exactly, but it is fair to say that Justice League feels suitably bigger and more impressive than the standalone hero games, even with fewer win lines. It has some of the best features around and always has a chance of being supremely valuable too. We love the game and anyone with a passion for comic books will too.
