Realistic Games this week becomes the latest company to partner with William Hill as the massive bookmaking brand looks to cement its position as a market leader in the mobile gaming sector. Following hot on the heels of news earlier this month where WillHill committed to a brand new mobile focused development, they have now picked up a selection of games that can be difficult to find elsewhere and will undoubtedly bolster their existing selection from the likes of Playtech, particularly now that the exclusive game supply agreement with the developer has come to an end.
Naturally, the partnership itself is certainly only in the early stages at the moment, although some official details have already been released. The first mobile slots to hit the William Hill platform have already been confirmed as Sunset Reels, Snakes and Ladders, Double Bubble, Tutankhamun, Pentagram and Super Graphics Upside Down, with more games expected to follow shortly.
Andy Harris, commercial director at Realistic Games, was understandably delighted at welcoming one of the biggest gaming brands around on board, commenting: “Our strategy has always been to partner with the best operators around the world and William Hill’s growth in recent years is proof that they are in the vanguard of online gaming. They are also aligned with us in terms of our focus on mobile and belief that the channel is key to future success in eGaming. I’m confident that this will be a great deal for both parties and am looking forward to delivering fresh and engaging content to their customers.”
Many of the games from Realistic have been designed with all sorts of platforms in mind and while the current list of games will also be available through the Games tab at William Hill, Harris’s comments indicate that the deal was mainly agreed with mobile in mind. Realistic Games creates all of its new titles to work seamlessly across desktops, smartphones and tablets and so players can expect a raft of new releases as soon as they become available, with Hot Cross Bunnies recently released to Realistic’s existing partners. That effectively gives us a good idea of what we can expect to see at William Hill Mobile in the near future.
With more big moves expected in the early part of 2014 not only from William Hill but also other notable competitors, there’ll be plenty of news coming out in the coming weeks and months.
