Back in March we posted an article here at MobileCasino.net illustrating our thoughts that Sheriff Gaming would be one to watch in the mobile casino industry in 2013. Just over three months on it seems that we were right as Sheriff has now officially made the move into the mobile space with the launch of some dedicated mobile 3D slots.
As is commonplace among developers that combine both online and mobile game production, the two leading slots to have emerged from the company are both mobile adaptations of some of their most popular online slots, with all of the bells and whistles that designing and developing in HTML5 permits.
The first Sheriff game to hit phones and tablets was the excellently named Amsterdam Masterplan. While not the most feature packed slot at online or mobile casinos it did grab a few headlines for the quality of graphics and this strong point is translated fully to the mobile platforms. The handful of bonuses that are present in the original game have made it through to the mobile version too, with between five and fifteen free spins for three or more scatters and an extra cash bonus for lining up the three key members of the Amsterdam Masterplan itself.
The other game to hit mobile screens is Spartania, which continues the recent tradition of adapting ancient Greek and Roman themed games for mobile players – something that makes little sense as we cannot recall seeing Caesar ever making a call on his iPhone. Nevertheless, the game brings equally impressive graphics to your pocket with armour, shields and even the Coliseum making up some of the more valuable symbols. With a one to five times multiplier on every spin and a great themed round for bonus cash, Spartania is another excellent addition to any mobile line-up.
The games are delivered to casino operators using Sheriff’s own SMART platform which is designed to be compatible with all Apple devices and all the most recent Android handsets and tablets. It also benefits from being easy to plug in to a casino’s existing gaming platform, with Sheriff benefitting hugely from the recent trend towards multi-developer casinos.
Now that Sheriff officially has its foot in the door, they are planning to build on their newly found momentum. Eric Roskamp, a spokesperson for Sheriff, said: “The development of SMART and our mobile game roll out is a landmark opportunity for Sheriff Gaming to bring its unique 3D content to a mass market. This year alone we are aiming to launch between ten and fifteen slot games and five table games that operators can promote to their players via mobile and PC. We are really excited to have the technology to promote our games across multiple channels and in more than twenty different languages.”
This is of course great news for Sheriff Gaming fans as the statement indicates that their entire line-up of new games will not necessarily consist solely of redeveloped desktop games with plenty of new action to look forward to.
As noted, this is Sheriff’s first entry into the mobile space and so gaming options are few and far between for mobile casino players. Fortunately, one of our most highly recommended mobile casinos is the perfect place to enjoy what they have to offer, that being Jetbull. Check out our Jetbull Mobile Casino review to see exactly what they are about and to find out how to sign up to enjoy Spartania, The Amsterdam Masterplan and much more.
