The X Factor is one of the biggest successes of television’s reality show genre, and today is more popular than ever as numerous TV stations around the world have picked up the show, originally produced by Australia’s FreemantleMedia Enterptises for cable TV station AXN.
Each show features a number of contestants who are required to successfully negotiate a course of extremely creative, yet often very treacherous, contraptions in order to advance to subsequent rounds. More often than not, they are swept off their feet or thrown off the course, generally landing in a pool of water, in which the obstacle course has been erected.
As “The X Factor Fever” is peaking, it was only timely that FreemantleMedia Enterprises’ subsidiary, Cozy Games, released a mobile slot game based on the reality show. Called The X Factor – Steps to Stardom, the game utilises Cozy Games’ own Cozy Connect platform.
“We have a highly skilled team who work round the clock to ensure operator satisfaction. This latest deployment is testament to the team’s hard work and dedication,” commented Tim Green, Chief Operating Officer at Cozy Games
First to launch the new slot game is Isle of Man-registered Paddy Power in conjunction with their partner mobile casino partner, OpenBet.
“Brand partnership deals add value to our mobile games portfolio and the launch of The X Factor – Steps To Stardom is very timely as we hit the live stages of The X Factor on TV,” said Lucinda Kelly, Mobile Games Manager at Paddy Power on the impending debut.
“We thank Cozy Games for the fantastic turn around on this project and we are certain both fans and non-fans of the show are going to love the new game,” Kelly added.
