Isle of Man-based software developer Microgaming has for many years been a household name in the online casino arena. Literally hundreds of online casinos deploy gaming platforms, apps, games and integrated casino solutions created by Microgaming.
After the online casino success of its hugely popular video slot “Mega Moolah“, the company recently decided to also launch an HTML5 version especially designed for mobile casinos.
Additionally, and considering the rapidly increasing importance of mobile gaming, Microgaming also thought it was about time to gain a firm foothold in the mobile gaming market and thus introduced its own dedicated mobile gaming brand, Microgaming Go.
To capture a broader customer base, Microgaming Go expanded its existing English-language HTML5 and Android Air offerings to another six languages: German, Swedish, Danish, Dutch, Russian and Spanish. The move reflects the growing demand for game content in the regulated key markets of Europe and is designed to furnish the company’s mobile casino customers with a broader range of options appealing to a larger player demographic.
“We are delighted to launch Microgaming Go, which incorporates our leading mobile gaming solutions. Since more and more [mobile] devices nowadays support HTML5, it is only vital for Microgaming to being able to supply the best product to operators via a dedicated brand,” commented Neill Whyte, head of product channels at Microgaming, on the introduction of Microgaming Go.
