Casino software developer Evolution Gaming has announced the debut of a brand new range of live dealer casino solutions particularly for mobile gaming on iPad tablets.
The Mobile Live Roulette suite for iPad is already available for licensees to integrate with their existing mobile casino platform, while Mobile Live Blackjack will launch in November, followed by Mobile Live Baccarat in January 2013.
All three suites utilise HTML5, deploy a similar interface and are optimised for being played on iPad table computers, but can also be enjoyed on regular laptops and PCs. Besides other functions, the interface allows for seamless switching between portrait (close-up) and landscape (panoramic) view.
A “major worldwide betting brand” has already picked up Mobile Live Roulette for iPad “for an Apple-approved application”, Evolution Gaming recently revealed in a press release, but did not disclose the name of the casino.
“This development is obviously great news for iPad users, but it also has wider implications as it greatly extends the gaming floor, as well as playing and revenue opportunities [for casino operators],” the press release quoted Fredrik Bjurle, product manager at Evolution Gaming, as saying.
“The Evolution Gaming mobile platform can form the basis of an intra-resort mobile gaming solution, but it can also serve as the betting interface for live casino TV broadcasting,” Bjurle elaborated on the usage potentials of Evolution Gaming’s new live dealer casino solutions range.
Live dealer casino floors have become the latest phenomenon in mobile gambling as they afford a more “live-like” experience than regular mobile casino games, deploying streaming video of real-life dealers on physical casino floors, with whom players can interact in real time.
